After finishing the ACCAC slate at 10-2 and a 2nd place finish, Glendale Community College volleyball saw 4 players given post-season honors for their performances during the 2025 conference season.
Olivia Moore was named the ACCAC D2 Setter of the Year. Moore, a sophomore from Valley Vista high school, recorded 331 assists to go along with 140 digs and 45 kills this season. Moore was also named All-ACCAC D2 1st Team and All-Region.
Nissa Teran was named to the All-ACCAC D2 1st Team and All-Region. Teran, a sophomore from Mountain Ridge high school, had 64 kills in ACCAC play along with 24 blocks.
Jordyn Dugi and Mikayla Shepston were both named All-ACCAC D2 2nd Team. Dugi, a freshman from Millennium high school, had 266 digs this season, averaging over 4 digs a set in conference play. Shepston, a freshman from Sunnyslope high school, had 125 of her 147 kills in conference, and averaged 2.98 kills per set during ACCAC play.
The Gauchos will open the NJCAA Region 1 tournament tonight as the 2-seed and will host 3-seed Scottsdale Community College. During the regular season, the Gauchos took both matches against the Artichokes by a combined 6 sets to 2. Tonight's match is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
