Glendale Community College women's volleyball libero Jordyn Dugi was named the ACCAC Division 2 Defensive Player of the Week for week 1.

Dugi, a freshman from Millennium High School, had 85 digs (2.9 per set) across seven matches. She had a 22 dig performance against Pima Community College on August 29th, which led the team for the match. Dugi has had double-digit digs in three out of seven matches for the Gauchos this season.

Dugi and the Gauchos begin ACCAC play this Friday, September 5th, when they travel to Scottsdale Community College. The match is scheduled to start at 7pm.
