Fort Dodge, IA - Glendale Community College women's cross country member Taylor James competed in the 2025 NJCAA National Cross Country Championships last Saturday, November 8th in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

James, also a member of the Gauchos softball program, competed in the women's 5000 meter event, finishing with a time of 23:49.1 while battling sub-freezing conditions and over 4 inches of snow. Of the 5 different 1000 meter checkpoints, James ran under 5-minutes 4 times, with her shortest split the first 1000 meters, running 4:18.1. James finished 184th in the event, which was in the top half of the field.
