The Glendale Community College volleyball program has been recognized by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) and awarded the 2025 AVCA Team Academic Award, sponsored by INTENT.

This is the 33rd year of the award, with the AVCA honoring over 1,450 high school and collegiate volleyball programs who matched their volleyball achievements with academic success. The benchmark is an average 3.3 GPA on a 4.0 scale for the entire program during the 2024-25 academic year.
