Fort Dodge, IA - Glendale Community College men's cross country member Tabian Bailey finished 55th in the men's 8000 meter event at the NJCAA Cross Country National Championships last Saturday, November 8th in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

Bailey, a freshman from Greenway high school, broke his personal record by over 50 seconds with a time of 28:16. Bailey had excellent splits at every checkpoint, running at or below a 3:38 pace. Bailey had to navigate sub-freezing temperatures and over 4 inches of snow at the event. Bailey was 4 places, or 2.6 seconds away from All-American honors.
