GLENDALE, Ariz. - Glendale Community College men's track and field sophomore athlete Konrad Clark has announced his commitment to Arizona State University. The Sun Devils compete in the Big 12 conference and compete in both indoor and outdoor meets.

Clark, originally from Estrella Foothills high school in Goodyear, has competed for the Gauchos in the 200 meter, 400 meter, and 4x400 meter events. In his freshman season, Clark was a member of the NJCAA D1 Indoor All-American 4x400 team that broke the GCC track record for the 4x400 meters with a time of 3:12.92. This season, Clark was a member of the 4x400 meter team that broke the program's record again at the Paradise Valley Community College Indoor invitational with a time of 3:09.95.

Clark and the Gauchos Track and Field team will look to continue their strong start to the season when they travel to Flagstaff to compete in the NAU Tune Up Meet on Friday, February 20th.
