TUCSON, Ariz. - Glendale Community College men's basketball's season came to an end in the NJCAA region 1 semifinal Thursday night, as they suffered defeat against Pima Community College, 108-70. The Aztecs will advance to the championship game against Scottsdale Community College.
Kenny White (St. Mary's) led the Gauchos in scoring on the night, finishing with 22 points on 7-of-17 from the floor. White, who was recently named 1st team All-Region, also had 5 rebounds and one steal in the contest. Stephan Miller (Liberty) notched his 10th double-double this season, finishing with 19 points on 8-of-18 from the floor, 3-of-6 from beyond the arc. Miller, who was also named 1st team All-Region, had 12 rebounds, 3 steals and one assist in the game. Anthony Maciel (Central) came off the bench and had 11 points and 6 rebounds in 22 minutes. The Gauchos shot 37.5% from the field and had 12 assists on 27 made field goals.
The Gauchos finish the season with an overall record of 18-12. It is tied for the most wins with the 2021-22 and 2024-25 seasons, both seeing the Gauchos make it to the regional semifinal (24-25) and championship (21-22) games.
