TUCSON, Ariz. - Glendale Community College men's basketball dropped their final regular season matchup with Pima Community College on Saturday, falling to the Aztecs 103-81. With the loss the Gauchos sit at 17-10 overall, 8-8 in ACCAC play. Headed into the final week the Gauchos are currently in 4th place in the conference standings.
Kaleb Conley led the Gauchos in scoring, finishing with 24 points on 9-of-11 from the floor. Conley, a freshman from Boulder Creek high school, had 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 block in the contest. Kenny White (St. Mary's) had 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the Gauchos. Stephan Miller (Liberty) had 12 points and 6 rebounds. The Gauchos shot 44.8% from the field and had 12 assists on 30 made field goals.
The Gauchos will start the final week of the regular season at home for a matchup against Chandler-Gilbert Community College. Wednesday night's contest will be sophomore night for both the men's and women's programs, honoring the Gaucho sophomore's final home game of their careers. Tip-off for the men's contest is scheduled for 7:30 P.M.
