PHOENIX - Glendale Community College men's basketball completed the season sweep of Phoenix College on Saturday, defeating the Bears, 92-86. The win moves the Gauchos to 16-8 overall, 7-6 in ACCAC play.
Stephan Miller led the Gauchos in scoring, finishing with 31 points on 10-of-17 from the floor and 11-of-13 from the foul line. Miller, a freshman from Liberty high school, also had 8 rebounds and one steal for the contest. Kaleb Conley (Boulder Creek) had 23 points on 10-of-18 from the floor. Conley also had 6 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 steals, and 2 blocks for the contest. Kenny White (St. Mary's) had 14 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. The Gauchos shot 53.1% from the floor, 50% from beyond the arc and had 22 assists on 34 made field goals.
Glendale Community College men's basketball returns home on Wednesday, February 11th, when they host South Mountain Community College. In their most recent matchup, the Gauchos fell to the Cougars 82-78. Tip-off for Wednesday's contest is scheduled for 7:30 P.M.
