TUCSON, Ariz. - Glendale Community College men's basketball fell to 10th ranked Pima College on Saturday, 105-96. The loss moves the Gauchos to 10-3 overall, 2-2 in conference.
Stephan Miller led the game in scoring, finishing with 33 points on 12-of-17 from the field. Miller, a freshman from Liberty high school, had 5 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 assists. Kai Hogan (Brophy) had 15 points in 23 minutes off the bench. Malaki Garnica (Brophy) came away with 14 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and was a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line. 5 different Gaucho players finished in double-figures.
Glendale shot 52.2% from the field, 42.9% from beyond the arc, 85% from the foul line and had 18 assists on 35 made field goals in the contest. The Gauchos were outrebounded 38-27 and were outscored in the paint 60-32.
Glendale Community College men's basketball is back in action today, December 15, as they host Taylor Made Prep. Tip-off is scheduled for 3 p.m.
