GLENDALE, Ariz. - Glendale Community College men's basketball suffered its first loss of the conference slate Wednesday night, falling to South Mountain Community College, 64-78. With the loss, the Gauchos moved to 9-2 on the season, 1-1 in ACCAC play.

Stephan Miller (Liberty) led the Gauchos in scoring for the contest. Miller finished with 19 points, 11 rebounds, and 1 block. Anthony Maciel (Central) and Kai Hogan (Brophy) each finished with 9 points and combined for 7 rebounds. The Gauchos shot 44.9% from the field, 20% from beyond the arc, and had 8 assists on 22 made field goals.

Glendale Community College men's basketball will return to action next Wednesday, December 10th, when they host Mesa Community College. Tipoff for the contest with the Thunderbirds is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
