PHOENIX - Glendale Community College men's basketball opened up conference play with a road victory over Phoenix College, 86-79. The Gauchos moved to 9-1 on the year, 1-0 in conference play.

Stephan Miller led the way for the Gauchos, finishing with 27 points, and 9 rebounds. Miller, a freshman from Liberty high school, shot 10-of-20 from the field and a perfect 7-of-7 from the foul line. Malaki Garnica had 14 points in the contest along with 3 steals. Ty Gibbs, Kenny White, Kaleb Conley, and Memphis James all finished with 8 points for the game. The Gauchos shot 47.2% from the field, 77.8% from the foul line and had 17 assists on 34 made field goals.
