GLENDALE, Ariz. - Glendale Community College men's basketball guard Kenny White was named the ACCAC D2 men's basketball player of the week for week 3.

White, a sophomore from St. Mary's high school averaged 24.3 points per game, 4 assists per game, shot 59.1% from the field, and 59.1% from beyond the arc. Against Arizona Christian JV and Big Bend Community College, White finished with 29 points in each contest and shot a combined 10-of-14 from beyond the arc. Through eight games, White is averaging 20.8 points per game, and 5.1 assists per game while shooting 56.3% from the field and 51.9% from beyond the arc. He's scored in double figures in all but one of the Gauchos' eight contests.

White and the Gauchos will return to action on Friday, November 21st, when they travel north to Prescott and face Yavapai College. Tip-off for the contest is scheduled for 6 p.m.
