GLENDALE, Ariz. - Glendale Community College men's basketball got back in the win column last Saturday, November 15th, with a commanding victory over Big Bend Community College 109-73. With the win, the Gauchos moved to 6-1 on the season.
Stephan Miller led the way for the Gauchos, finishing with 32 points and 5 rebounds. Miller, a freshman from Liberty high school, shot 14-of-20 from the field and had 3 assists and 1 steal in the contest. Kenny White (St. Mary's) contributed 29 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals. White shot 10-of-15 from the field, and 5-of-8 from beyond the arc. Malaki Garnica (Brophy) had 15 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. The Gauchos shot a staggering 60.9% from the field and 50% from beyond the arc. For the contest they finished with 30 assists on 42 made field goals.
Glendale Community College men's basketball returns to action tonight, November 18th, wrapping up the final game of the 4-game homestand as they host Benedictine Mesa JV. Tip off for the contest is scheduled for 6 p.m.
