Devin Bermudez joined the Glendale Community College men’s basketball staff in 2024 under head coach Ken Carillo. In his first season, the Gauchos posted an 18-11 record and advanced to the Region I NJCAA Division II semifinals. Bermudez plays a key role in recruiting and player development.
Before joining Glendale, Bermudez spent six seasons with New Mexico State University men’s basketball, serving four years as lead student manager. He oversaw a team of student managers and assisted with player development, film analysis, and practice operations. During his tenure, the Aggies earned three 25-plus win seasons, captured three regular-season conference titles, two NCAA tournament appearances, and had nineteen players go on to play professionally.
Bermudez also served as a student coach for the 2022 New Mexico State Alumni team that competed in The Basketball Tournament (TBT) and, in the summer of 2024, was the head coach for a Global Squad Academy 16U team composed of international high school players seeking exposure in the United States while competing on a highly competitive AAU circuit.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing with a minor in sports administration from New Mexico State University in 2023.
