Glendale Community College men's basketball saw their season come to a close in the region semi-finals Wednesday night, falling to Chandler-Gilbert Community College, 80-59. Chandler-Gilbert will advance to play Pima Community College in the region championship.

Jordan Kuac (Ironwood) led the Gauchos with 28 points on 9-of-18 from the field, 3-of-6 from beyond the arc and a perfect 7-of-7 from the foul line to go along with 7 rebounds, one steal, and one block. Chase Pavey (Sunrise Mountain) provided 11 points on 4-of-8 from the field, 2-of-4 from beyond the arc along with 2 rebounds. Lamont Johnson contributed 8 points, 5 rebounds, one assist, and one block. The Gauchos shot 32.8% from the field, 27.8% from beyond the arc and had only 6 assists on 19 made field goals.

The Gauchos finish the season with an overall record of 18-11. It is the most wins for the program since the 2021-22 season when the Gauchos finished with an 18-13 record and lost in the region championship.
