GLENDALE, Ariz. - Glendale Community College baseball student-athlete Brady Anderson was named the ACCAC Division 2 pitcher of the week for week 3 after his performances against Chandler-Gilbert and South Mountain. Anderson is the first Gaucho selected for a player of the week honor this season.

Anderson, a freshman from Canyon View high school in Utah, went 2-0 with 10 strikeouts in 11 innings pitched last week. Against South Mountain, he threw 5 scoreless innings, giving up four hits and striking out 3 batters. He followed up his strong performance four days later by throwing 6 scoreless innings, giving up 2 hits and striking out 7 batters. On the season Anderson has thrown 16 innings, with a 2.25 ERA and 1.25 WHIP.
